About 10 years ago when I checked, there were about 250 Patrick Wolfes in the US. That is not counting Ireland and Germany.

Wow! I guess we are an elite club. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Patrick,

My name is Patrick Wolfe too! No, I'm not a spammer, but I guess you'd expect a spammer to say that too. HA!

I just googled myself, and found your website. I'm in IT as well (UNIX/IP Networking expert), so I guess it's entirely possible some of my old friends might be reading YOUR site, thinking it's mine. LOL

Yours is more interesting anyway. Mine is mostly about my cats. Boring.

Well, nice to meet you, have a nice day!

The original quote is "There is no limit to the good man can do if he doesn’t care who gets the credit". by Judson B Branch.

Before RR put it on his desk, it was paraphrased by Harry Truman as |It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit".

I like Judson's original version

Jon

PS Authentic success is knowing how simply abundant your life is exactly as it is today

Thanks for stopping by. I emailed the president of Tumi Japan on 7 July and explained the situation. When I ran across him in person he said that he got my email and would respond. I've not seen it yet, but he's a good guy so I bet he'll take care of it.

Got the bag back yesterday (22 July) with a brand new "anti-clothes eating zipper". It will be interesting to see what happens on this. I hate to use products I don't believe in.

"With individuals, you can really see what people are made of when they get pressed or upset. On the corporate level, you can really see what a company is made of by their CS (Customer Service)." That's my thought on CS.

Patrick,

Hey, that was a nice piece. Very well spoken! Thanks for your kind words about Coach Japan. I share your enthusiasm for our customer service team.

We do try to treat each person as an individual, and usually will defer to them. Interestingly, when our agents sometimes make an exception for the customer, they accidentally leave the impression with the customer that they are doing the customer a favor. This really upsets the customer, and what started out as a simple service issue now turns into an escalation. So, as our chairman Lew Frankfort says, it is always important to find the balance between logic and magic.

Lucky for you, we are now designing and making more men's bags.

Have a great day!
Michael
